They craziest thing is that people are accepting that it's OK to add the trip charge and pre fee to the total price of the bike. When did we forget that MSRP already has the profit margins already after all that figured in. Also, stop calling Harley a premium product it's not any more bike or value compared to any other big name brand. It's supposed to be a premium experience, but it won't happen as the brand will slowly become a minor small batch luxury wannabe that doesn't get new riders.

Here is something to consider, a brand that appreciates your business. That would not be Harley!

Have a 2018 Heritage with 107. The first problem I had was a compensater. Put a Dark Horse Man-O-War compensater. Then, the main drive bearing went out, so I had a Baker transmission put in with a taller 5th and 6th gear. I'm more than happy with. Can be doing 85mph down the highway with my wife on the back and turning just under 2800rpms

MSRP is meaningless. Everyone forgets the second word - suggested. Dealer's can mark up their invoice any amount they want. Arm yourself with information before you start negotiating. And never roll your equipment, add-ons, and other stuff into an out the door price. Also, watch out for third-party junk warranties, security programs, data dots, and all that other junk. It's worth nothing. Go get 'em! The finance person is NOT there to help you. They're there to hide as much in the deal as they can.

Harley lost me forever. Was looking to replace my 2012 ultra limited. New one, msrp 33k, after taxes, mark-up, b.s. fees, it was over 42k. I walked and bought a new 6-speed Goldwing for 11k less. I absolutely love it.

I will never buy a bike at a dealer. I buy them used and privately. Great deals are out there on used Harley’s. You gotta be patient and not be afraid to make offers on them. A new heritage 2024 softail is 25k right now. Dealer had a used 2016 with 55k miles and still wanted 14k for it. I bought a 2016 heritage with only 9k miles on it for 11,500 👍. Basically still a new bike. They also wanted 14k, then lowered it to 13k, but accepted my 11500 offer eventually. So you gotta be patient.

Too corporate. Too expensive. And customer loyalty is a one way street. Tremendous sales pressure on the staff. They sold me five motorcycles over the years. My last one, I pretty much gave away. No more for me thanks.

I own 3 bikes. 2 Triumphs and an Aprilia. I went to Harley dealer looking for a new cruiser touring bike. The sales guy said to me I couldn’t afford one 🙄🙄 little does he know i have about $2 million in savings, and own a half million dollar house with no mortgage 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ it’s worse in Alberta….because most morons have oil patch money, so they know that people will come in the doors…..

Like the breakdown, remember back when you did the video before you bought the 2018. I have a 2006 road king, so ancient compared to yours. I love it.

Harley doesn't even want to work on Harley . I sold my lowrider & will never buy another Harley.

In Europe you pay the price you find on the website. This is the case for all brands (cars and motorcycles). All dealers charge the same price in the same country. This way you will not be faced with any surprises. Everything is strange in the US ;-)

Apparently I'm not charging the battery, because I'm running in a high enough rpm. I usually run in 6th gear on the way to work never going 65 mph.

I just installed these a few minutes ago. I placed one washer on the top then the other washer on the bottom followed by the split lock washer and then the cap nut. Each mirror had two spacers that I discarded. Looks great!!!

Have the cheap Cobra 909’s slip ons on my bike and they sound ok. 👍
